Why We Built This Site
Georgia makes many justice records public, yet no single Douglas County office holds the full history. The Sheriff's Records Division maintains booking and law-enforcement files. The Clerk keeps filed charges and dispositions. GCIC receives fingerprint-supported arrest and outcome data, while the Georgia Department of Corrections and state registry maintain separate custody and registration records. Bringing those distinct official routes together helps prevent a request from going to the wrong agency.

An official copy must come from the issuing sheriff, court, or Georgia Bureau of Investigation. This resource can identify the custodian but cannot issue the document.
